Wednesday Night ClassThe Gospel of John will be taught on Wednesday nights beginning on March 10th. We will begin the evening with Holy Eucharist at 6 pm followed by a Soup/Salad or Potluck supper.   For further information, please call St. Timothy’s Church at (318) 487-0875.  Our teacher will be the Rev. Frank W. Hughes, Ph.D.  To aid us in our reading of John, we will use The Gospel and Epistles of John: A Concise Commentary by Raymond E. Brown, which will be available for $8.00.

Tuesday Bible Study

The Tuesday Bible Study began studying Paul’s earliest letter, the Second Letter to the Thessalonians in January.  The Tuesday Bible Study begins at 1:30. Father Hughes will lead this study in Monnica’s Room.

Miscellaneous Church Business

Shepherd Center and Manna House Outreach: We are collecting food items for the Shepherd Center and Manna House. #10 cans of food are given to the Manna House and pancake mix and syrup go to the Shepherd Center. Baskets in the Parish Hall are provided for these items.
Sunday Refreshments: Cakes, cookies, mini muffins, brownies, etc to be stored in freezer to be used as needed for Sunday Refreshments. Please label items to indicate that they are for Sunday refreshments.
Parish Breakfast: The next parish breakfast will be on Sunday, March 7th. This is a wonderful time of fellowship and gives an opportunity to meet other parishioners while enjoying the great meal.

Christianity 101:

Christianity 101This class is for those who wish to be confirmed or received in The Episcopal Church, and also for those who wish to learn more about the Christian faith and our church. Confirmed persons may also reaffirm their commitment by the laying on of hands by the bishop. The class will be jointly taught by two experienced teachers: The Rev. Dr. Frank W. Hughes and Mr. John Robert.

Class will be held in the Parish Hall from 12:30 to 2 pm on the Sundays indicated. We will serve a light lunch at 12 noon for those who are participating in the class. "If you are interested in this class, please contact Father Hughes at 487-0875 concerning the class."

Exploring Relationships
and the Future:

Exploring Relationships and the Future Class"Exploring Relationships and the Future" is a class that will be a continuation of the Vestry and Congregational Workshop with Bishop MacPherson that occurred on February 20th. The class will take place in the parish hall from 9:10 am on Sunday, March 14th, March 21st, April 11th and April 18th.
